mod_dns est une alternative de choix au mécanisme de résolution de noms d'hôte intégré à Apache.

En utilisant la mémoire partagée, mod_dns permet une résolution de nom en temps réel même sur les serveurs les plus lourdement accédés.

mod_dns nécessite l'utilisation de la librairie mm.
